something isnt right with this Holly Bobo case, something very very wrong is going on in that town, has anyone else heard about the girl who vanished from there in 1999?? Kristie baugus moon, THAT TOWN DID NOTHING TO HELP FIND HER JUST AS THEY ARE DOING WITH HOLLY no story is the same and all they wanna do is sit around and pray? have fund raisers? no pleas to the public no demanding from the family, jus shady things over there in Tennessee.
When i look online for this girl i cant pull anything of importance up, but i read that the town itself just all keep their mouth closed. I read that there wasnt much of search effort done and that it was rumored the girl was fed to pigs?!?!? What is the law enforcement over there doing??? Why cant one person get a story right? Was holly dragged? was she led? was she bleeding? Did she seem to go willingly or not? what the hell? the dogs can hit on her scent in the woods???? her trail just stops? Took this from my other blog that I write about my hometown Staten Island. I started a Staten Island Lady blog pretty much because of this story, its the first post I ever did in my blogging career. I am not a professional and of course some of my writing could be better, I tend to get my thoughts jumbled up get ahead of myself, but here it is. I changed the title, in the other blog its called Cropsey: The Staten Island Boggie Man. I am only 23 years old, so i wasn't aware of this story growing up on Staten Island. I have heard about just about every other story this island has to offer, I mean this is said to be the most haunted borough. We have Richmond Town, Sea View, The Farm Colony... I could keep going.. and I will get to these stories sooner or later, but what got me was the story of cropsey. I was flicking through the channels and came across a commercial about a documentary that's to be aired on ID, Investigation Discovery. I figured if they were making a whole documentary about this then it may be worth exploring. So I googled it, of course. And so here is what i came across.
It was the 1980's, at the time, the island was much less populated then it currently is. It was a very family oriented place with more wooded areas then the other 4 boroughs. There was an urban legend called cropsey about an escaped mental patient ( no surprise there) that lived in the woods and would pray on little kids. This was mostly passed along by kids trying to scare each other or parents trying to keep their children close by and keep them from wandering out of the neighborhood. But in the 80's an urban legend took on its own real life antics when children around the island started going missing. Enter Andre Rand, who worked as an orderly in the Willowbrook State School in the 1960's. As it turns out he actually lived on the grounds after the closing of the Willowbrook school at various make shift camp sites he set up in abandoned buildings and also in the under ground tunnels that ran under the institution.
The 1st girl to grab attention but not the 1st to go missing, and the only one who's body was recovered was 12 year old Westerleigh girl Jennifer Schweiger, who had down syndrome. She disappeared on July 9th 1987 and was found later in August of that same year. She was found in a shallow grave near the abandoned building. Andre Rand was the last person to be seen with her alive for whatever reason a 42 year old homeless guy is the only one with a 12 year old not to mention a young girl with down syndrome is beyond me. It took over 30 days of searching and combing the island to find this girl. He was arrested but only convicted of kidnapping, not for murder and is currently serving 25 years to life. But if you thought it ended there it doesn't. In 2004 Andre took the stand again facing charges on kidnapping and murder charges in the case of 7 year old Holly Ann Hughes who went missing in 1981, before Jennifer was taken. She was playing with her friends near a local Port Richmond deli. A witness saw a green Volkswagen shadowing her. Witness Elsie Caban, says she saw this car about 6 times over a 2 hour span moving closer to Holly and her friends. "The Volkswagen moved next to the tracks on Park Ave.," Caban said, recalling how she had previously seen the car up the street.
"Now, the car was on the other side of the street with the children around down by the trestle." Caban said she first saw the car parked outside her Park Ave. home in Port Richmond and across the street from where her children were playing with Holly Ann outside the child's home. A short while later, as Caban walked to a deli to buy soap, she saw the car parked near the railroad tracks. Caban testified that the last time she saw Holly Ann was between 9:30 and 9:45 p.m. as the child strolled alone on Ann St. toward Port Richmond Ave. Caban, who was on her porch, said she noticed several minutes later the Volkswagen was gone. Perhaps the strangest twist in this story is that the sales clerk that was working that night at the deli remembered Holly come in and bought a bar of ivory soap. He said she came in at about 9:30 pm to buy a bar of soap and she was a nickle short. Why is this strange? Well because Elsie Caban stated that she too went into that same deli and bought a bar of soap, and according to the clerk she too was a nickle short. Andre has admitted to being there and states that he actually gave the girl money and told her to go buy a bar of soap because she was dirty. Oh no it doesnt end there, Rand is also likely connected to the kidnappings of additional girls: Tiahease Jackson, 10, who disappeared Aug. 13, 1983, out of The Mariner's Harbor Hotel where she was staying with her family. Her mother was asleep around 1:30 pm and a neighboor asked her to run to the store for her. She was never seen again after buying chicken wings at Crown Supermarket, 900 Richmond Ave.; and Alice Pereira, 5, who disappeared on July 10, 1972, near her apartment in the Tysens Ln area of the New Dorp section, several miles southeast of Willowbrook. She vanished after her brother left her alone for all of 5 minutes. Audrey Lyn Nerenberg is another girl about the age of 18 although she had the mentality of a 14 year old when she was taken. She lived in Flatbush, Brooklyn but was at a theater on Staten Island the day before her disappearance on July 5th 1977. The theater is the former Jerry Lewis Theater that was on Forest Ave., not far from Rand's makeshift campsites. Audrey was last seen at her house in Brooklyn where she told her mother she was going two blocks away for a pack of cigarettes. Though her father received a call claiming to be the abductor, and demanding ransom, she was never seen or heard from again. He has also been linked to the disappearance of Ethel Atwell and the rape and murder of Shin Lee, both Willowbrook aides.
Andre Rand has not given cops any extra information to help solve any of the cases, and to this day no body knows exactly what happened in the events leading up to the death of little Jennifer and the others. Few speculate that he passed some of the girls around among his friends, who knows if this is true. What really gets me is that this could have all been stopped before it all started. His first encounter with the law was May 25, 1969, when he some how got a 9-year-old Bronx girl into his car and drove to a vacant lot. He took off his clothes and hers, but a passing police car interrupted the crime. Charged with attempted rape, Rand pleaded guilty to sexual abuse and was sentenced to four years. He served 16 months. In 1979, he was accused of raping a young woman and a 15-year-old girl, but neither pressed charges. In 1981, he offered a 9-year-old girl a lollipop and tried to lure her to ride in his Volkswagen. When she refused, Rand followed her to her home and searched for her while she hid under a rug. No charges were filed. And in January 1983, he drove to a Staten Island YMCA, lured 11 children into his van and drove to Elizabeth, N.J., where he bought them White Castle. He then took them to Newark Airport, where they watched planes arrive and depart. When he brought them back to the YMCA five hours later, Rand was charged with unlawful imprisonment and served 10 months in jail. Of course he and his lawyer maintain his innocence saying that Rand was "thoroughly investigated at the time. . . . His photograph was shown to persons who had seen Holly Ann Hughes shortly before her disappearance and none of them have identified [him] as having been near or with the child on July 15, 1981."
In a letter Rand wrote he said that that he has been the victim of "a slanderous/scapegoat article resurrecting [so-called] 'notoriety,' thus encouraging hostility against plaintiff. Focusing and arousing public attention toward plaintiff from so-called 'missing persons' old cases - such persons plaintiff has never met!" In a jailhouse interview with The News in 1987, Rand repeatedly lied to a reporter, saying he had never met Jennifer Schweiger. Though he changed his story real quick at trial, after his defense lawyer learned there were several witnesses who saw him with his bicycle leading the trusting little girl with Down syndrome by the hand away from her house toward the woods at Willowbrook. And inmates have said that Rand in his own words referred to him self as similar to Ted Bundy notorious women killer. "You know me and [Ted] Bundy are alike in many ways. We both used Volkswagens. Bundy's thing was women. My thing is kids. . . . Do you think the police could figure that out?" Andre also boasted to inmates that no one will ever find Holly's remains. He also asked a prison mate where he could find a porn magazine similar to his but with children instead.
Even 20 years later Friends of Jennifer, a group of people that dedicated much efforts to the recovery of Jennifer, still search the Willowbrook area once a year in hopes to recover anything that would help any of the cases against Rand

17 years in the making, this story is one that differs from any other story that I have personally blogged about. It starts in Italy on September 12th 1993, when Elisa was just 16 years old. Her story her story has gripped Italy just as Natalee Holloway's story has done for us. She was last seen with one of her close friends, and then went off behind Most Holy Trinity Church in Potenza, in southern Italy, with a man named Danilo Restivo. She was never seen again. Her family was waiting on her to go for a trip around the country side, and when she did not come to meet them, they knew something was wrong right away. Her brother looked for her frantically for her to no avail. And that was that. She was gone. The church was searched, surrounding towns, friends where asked questions, and all the knew was where and who she was last seen with.
Fast forward to 2002, in England. Heather Barnett is found dead inside her family home by her two young children. She was stabbed and mutilated, her breast was almost cut off and there was someone elses hair in her right hand and her own hair was under her left hand. Guess who lived close by to Ms. Barnett? Danilo Restivo. Detectives had a feeling about his involvment so they flew to Italy and tried to dig up some info into the Claps case. But since it had been a 9year old case at the time there was no new info in that case. They found out that Mr. Restivo had been in Heathers home a few days earlier to ask her to have curtains made for him. They also found out there was a string of hair cutting incidents where young girls where on a bus and started missing clumps of hair.
In March 2010, some workers where called to the Most Holy Trinity Church to look into some leaking water. The water leak was coming from the roof top and needed to be fixed. The workers made their way up to the rafters in the roof of the church and started to seek out the source of the leak. They found a mattress up there and laughed that young kids where sneaking up there to engage in sexual acts. One worker explored a little farther past the mattress and came across a gruesome discovery. The mummified body of 16 year old Elisa Claps. In both her hands where cut strands of hair. She had Restivo's DNA on her jumper. A week after she was found a memorial service was taken place at the church and was attended by some 7000 people.
Mr. Restivo denies killing either women, but can not say how his DNA got on Elisa. It was no secret that he was perusing Miss Claps in the months leading up to her murder. Elisa's brother says his sister did not want to date him and kept refusing to go on dates with him. Restivo is currently on trial for the murder of Heather Barnett.
The drowning in the pool is no doubt not a believable story. And I was thinking that this would make more sense. There is no doubt that Casey killed Caylee. Now that being said, since they are going with this sexual abuse from George it would make more sense that maybe George started to abuse Caylee. It would make sense that since Casey had gone threw the whole thing if she thought Caylee was being abused she would want to protect her. This could explain lying about having another babysitter, lets just say she did not want Caylee alone with her father, since she had no choice but to live off her parents she could not just leave. Thus lying about having a job, and making up pretend friends, so she could leave the house. Maybe this is why she left so suddenly, maybe she walked in on George with Caylee. Casey did not after all kill her in a rage, she did not stab her, she did not beat her. Those are the things that usually suggest jealousy, or a over whelming feelings us moms have that could make unstable people snap. She used chloroform and duct tape. Chloroform to knock her out, and duct tape to suffocate her. She put a heart sticker over her lips, this could show sympathy, and that she did not want to kill her but felt that she was "saving her". What mother would want their daughter to go throw the same thing she did and as Jesse Grund said, while they where engaged, she broke it off because in his opinion Cindy did not want her or Caylee leaving her house. The reason Casey gave him though, was because he loved Caylee more then herself. Caylee was left in Casey's trunk, this could be explained that Casey did not want to let her go, and she didn't know what to do with her. That is why she borrowed the shovel and returned it unused. The dogs hit in Caylee's play area because it could mark a grave for her and Casey would know she was there. Caylee was found with her blanket that she probably felt safer when she had it with her, as most children do. Casey could never have imagined that this would have blown up in such a way. In one word she should have plead insanity and came clean about this, because I believe that this is a very possible chain of events. Explains why George may have wanted to kill himself, explains why Cindy was the one more frantic, explains why Casey may have felt she wasn't a good mother and being a spiteful bitch. When I see pictures and videos of Casey and Caylee together I have to admit, I see a loving mother in these pictures. While Lee's girlfriend testified about Caylee being able to count to 40 in Spanish, Casey smiled like a genuine proud mom, as she had said in a text message to her friend about Caylee using the potty.
She has said shes scared of what her mother will think, and I do believe that is why she wont come clean about actually killing her, and I do believe that Casey loves her mother, and that is why she broke down the day she testified ( as well as her mother not backing her any more), but also because her mother never protected her. I am not saying that this is what happened I am only saying that the drowning thing is the worse excuse she could have come up with. The partying could have been her denial of what happened, that she did not want anyone to know what was going on. This could explain the night Tony said she woke up in a sweat and breathing heavy, and why she breaks down when she sees these pictures. Though I do believe she acts, because she has to be on Xanax, but when she heard about the animals eating Caylee, she legit broke down. She was not crying for herself.
This can also explain why she said so much in the jail videos about herself, trying to get her mothers attention. While picking her dad to only talk to that time, she probably wanted to make him pay and just strung him along. This could also explain all the men, she has a daddy complex. SHE IS MENTALLY UNSTABLE AND POSSIBLY BI-POLAR SKITZO. Way better defense. What do you think?

Holly Bobo is a 20 year old nursing student who went missing out of Tennessee on April 13th, 2011. She was last seen by her brother Clint Bobo, who says he saw her out of the window of the home they live in, being lead by the arm into the woods by a man wearing camouflage. He says at first he thought it was her boyfriend since he wears camouflage often and likes to hunt. It wasn't until he went outside and saw that there was blood in the driveway, that he called 911. The thing is that her brother has changed his story, he first said that he saw her being dragged and then changed the story saying that she was lead by the arm, and did not appear to be in distress. Many people question how an older brother wouldn't run out after his sister after watching her going into the woods with a man, even if he did think it was her boyfriend.
Police have been searching for her for months now and have turned up very little. They did find her lunch box about 8 miles away from her home, along with her cell phone lying on the side of the road a few miles away as well. There are few details that the police have released because they do not want to tip off the person that did this. Its assumed that Holly knew her abductor and that he knew her as well. He knew when her family wouldn't be home and when she would be leaving for school, suggesting that he was stalking her for some time. At this time there is no further information about her disappearance, though I will keep updating as I find things out. Holly is the cousin of country music star Whitney Duncan, there is a reward of $80,000 for the safe return of Holly.
Something I found to be disturbing was this comment a user posted on a forum for the missing lady, after his comment a lot of other people went off and said that they reported him to the tip line.

I have read every post here and even though I don't believe 100% in the psychic abilities of the people posting about their visions, I do believe that every person has a built in intuition. Each person's life experience will make their intuition different. My intuition says that the person that took Holly had been watching her for quite some time. She may have met this man before and had a simple exchange (possibly at a local gas station), but he misread her kindness for interest. I believe that over several months he created a relationship in his mind with her. He parked outside of her house and followed her to school at times. I believe that this relationship came to a boiling point for him and he felt that he needed to "save" her. She probably talked to him awkwardly before he led her to the woods. I do believe that he kept her in his home nearby for a while, but in the end he "had no choice" and strangled her. I think that she is buried somewhere close to him so that he can visit her. He is local and knows the woods very well. Furthermore I think that he lives within 20 miles of the Bobo residence. I do not have psychic abilities, only intuition.
Today during the trial there was a switch in the air for sure. After waiting all week to see Casey's mother Cindy take the stand, I was very pleased.
Today we saw the real Casey Anthony. All that stone cold face melted away and showed her pure hatred for her mother. As I have said in my other post, it was no secret that Casey held some contempt for her mother, and today she proved it. Too bad the jury didn't get to see it because they had already left the room.
Cindy Anthony was very upset on the stand today and at one point asked if a picture of Caylee could be taken down. She had to look at pictures of Caylee's play house and the backyard of her house. She also had to recount all the lies that Casey fed her family from June 08 to July 08. When asked how long she (Cindy) look for Zanny the nanny, she admitted that she had stopped about 6 weeks ago. She no longer defended her daughter and she was even nice with the State. She even made it perfectly clear that there was no way Caylee was tall enough to just fall into the pool, and that the latter was never left down. Casey mirrored her emotions, every time her mother wiped her eyes over Caylee, Casey did too like clock work. Cindy never even looked at her daughter, and I dont blame her. Cindy can no longer let her ruin what is left of her family. As Cindy left the stand and the court was called to recess, Casey lost it. She cried hard tears of rage and started running her mouth with out covering it. We can make out her saying " 3 years she didn't cry and now she does?" "nothing she said even helped me!" "she believes him! shes going to take his side" she even went on to say "my dad had to have had help!" she turned red and her brows where pulled very tight, with her lips curled upward. One word, contempt.
Casey's brother is engaged and will one day have children, they have been together for so long. Casey can see this definite shift in both her mother and fathers attitude, and it is because they simply can not let her bring them all down. Why did she have to throw Lee in to the mix? Saying he to had sexually abused her? She wants pity, and she is no longer getting it from her mother.
