The Disapearence of Maddie McCane

"They've taken her, they've taken her! Madeleine's gone!"

Before I get started on this case I would like to point out it is my belief that this child was not killed by her parents and is, in my own opinion still alive. After reading about this case for a few years I do believe that she was a victim of a pedophile ring in Portugal. In most of my posts I speculate my own beliefs, thats why its my blog after all. 

MAY 3, 2007 - Madeline McCane was 3 years old when she was abducted out of a villa her parents where renting for a vacation they where on. The story they gave, was that they put their children to sleep, Maddie and her twin brothers who where about a year of age, and went out to eat with another couple. They said that the restaurant they were at was apart of the resort they were staying at and they were only a couple yards away from the door to where the children slept. In fact they and the couple that they where dining with took turns checking on the children and the women that went to check on them saw a man holding a sleeping child walking away down the block, but only saw her legs and feet, though she did not think it could be Madeline.

 Can you imagine going to a different country on vacation and having your child taken from her bed? The funny thing is, well not funny at all actually, but there was a request made for a 3 year old white child in a known pedophilia sex ring in Portugal. But the cops where so dead set that the parents did it, that they must have over dosed her to go dine, that they killed their daughter. They claimed all the evidence pointed to them the DNA in the trunk of the rented car and the trace amounts of blood they found in the apartment kept them from searching for a live Maddie outside the resort. Well of course her DNA is in the car, this was the last night they were staying so she had to have been in that car more then a dozen times, and after the results came back proving the blood that they found was not Maddie's, but belonged to a man, it had already been too late and the toddler could have been anywhere. The cops should be ashamed of themselves, they have done nothing but both this investigation from the get-go  keeping a photo of what could very well be Maddie holding a mans hand from the public saying that it was deemed "not relevant". But someone always sees something.... a man claims to have seen her in the back of a truck on the morning of May 4th, thought he only came forward last year about it, he says she was wearing the same pj's that they MacCann's gave in a statement. Another women swears that she saw Maddie in New Zealand, the same country where the not relevant photo was taken, and the girl was definitely British she overheard her ask "Can I see my mommy now?"

So many years has past but new tips come in regularly, the parents hired private investigators since the cops in Portugal stopped looking for her and deemed her dead. Both parents have been cleared as suspects as they were once considered.
