Today as I watched the trails opening statement I was in shock. The defense decided that they were going to point fingers everywhere else. Singling out Casey Anthony's own father George Anthony, claiming that on June 16th 2008, Casey came out into the backyard to see George holding a dead Caylee. They are claiming that her whole life Casey has had to lie to hide her pain, forced to hide her pregnancy, to hide the fact she was sexually abused by both her father and Lee her brother, and she was forced into hiding the death of her daughter. Her attorney says it all started when George put his penis in Casey's mouth. This is why Casey tried to have her parents banned from being in the court room no doubt. Caylee was never missing, because she drowned, and Cindy was the one who left the gate to the pool open. Her father made her cover it up because her mother would never forgive her. They are saying that she was raised to lie to cover up her families secrets. "What makes this case unique is the family that it happened to. You will hear stories about a family that is incredibly dysfunctional, you will hear about ugly things, secret things, things that people don't speak about," Baez said. Adding, "On June 16, 2008, after Caylee died, Casey did what she's been doing all her life, hiding her pain, going into that dark corner and pretending that she does not live in the situation that she's living in... it all began when Casey was 8 years old and her father came into her room and began to touch her inappropriately and it escalated,"
Casey breastfed caylee, she fed her, she cleaned her, she loved her, she never neglected her daughter. She was a doting mother who never raised her hands to her daughter. The only thing she is guilty of? Not calling 911 after she drowned. At one point Cindy Anthony walked out. They went on to blame the meter reader, saying her had Caylee's remains for months and kept them hidden. One thing they haven't explained? Her remorse!! She never shows emotion toward Caylee's death, and further more, how does this explain the google searches? how does this explain the chloroform? what about the decompression found in her car? They blamed the media for making this a bigger deal then it is?! What about her lies? Yeah, they say she lied for years about having a job and a nanny, so that she can get out of her house for a few hours. Why would George keep this secret? Hes a former police detective for crying out loud! Why drag this out and not call 911 over a accident? Why put duct tape over her mouth? And the sticker?
